Pest Control Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Pro Active Pest Control is hiring full-time Pest Control Technician Apprentices to manage service routes and provide customers with timely pest-control solutions and five-star service. The role involves working in the field at customers’ homes and businesses, inspecting and treating properties, troubleshooting pest problems, and educating customers about services. The company provides paid training, including state licensing, and the apprentice trains with a licensed technician to learn the duties and responsibilities of a Structural Pest Control Board (SPCB) licensee. Applicants do not need prior experience. The position requires obtaining an Applicator or Branch II Field Representative license from the California State Pest Control Board and passing the SPCB exam within 90 days. The work setting is in the field, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and weekend availability.
Requirements

- A valid driver’s license and a great DMV record.
- Willingness to routinely lift, push, and pull equipment; ascend and descend ladders; and occasionally work at height.
- Willingness to obtain an Applicator or Branch II Field Representative license from the California State Pest Control Board; passing a live scan is required.
- Ability to manage time and sometimes multitask.
- Ability to pass the SPCB exam and obtain a license within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Manage established service routes and serve new customers.

- Educate new and existing customers about services.
- Help achieve company service and sales goals.
- Continually refine skills and knowledge.
- Train with a licensed technician to learn the duties and responsibilities of an SPCB licensee.
