About The Position
Saint Clare's Health is seeking a PES Screener to provide mental health screening and treatment services. The position includes mobile outreach and screening, responding to hotline calls, conducting assessments, crisis counseling and interventions, case management, and participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning, recordkeeping, consultation, and education. The role provides care to patients from age 5 through geriatric.
Requirements
- Meet one of the following education and experience pathways: a master's degree and 1 year of full-time post-master's experience in a mental health setting; or a bachelor's degree and 3 years of full-time post-bachelor's experience in a mental health setting, including 1 year in a crisis setting; or a bachelor's degree, current enrollment in a master's program or related field, and 2 years of full-time post-bachelor's mental health experience, including 1 year in a crisis setting.
- For this role, a crisis setting is a designated screening center, designated emergency service, or psychiatric inpatient unit.
Nice To Haves
- MSW, MS or MA, BS, or BA in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work preferred.
- Licensed in an appropriate discipline preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health screening assessments and make appropriate interventions and referrals.
- Provide mobile outreach and screening.
- Respond to hotline calls.
- Conduct assessments and provide crisis counseling and interventions.
- Provide case management.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, recordkeeping, consultation, and education.
- Provide care to patients ranging in age from 5 years through geriatric.
