About The Position

The PES Screener provides mental health screening assessments and makes appropriate interventions and referrals. The position delivers a range of mental health treatment services, including mobile outreach and screening, responding to hotline calls, assessments, crisis counseling, interventions, and case management. The role also participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, recordkeeping, consultation, and education. Care is provided to patients from age five through geriatric.

Requirements

Meet one of the following education and experience pathways: a master's degree and one year of full-time post-master's experience in a mental health setting; a bachelor's degree and three years of full-time post-bachelor's experience in a mental health setting, including one year in a crisis setting; or a bachelor's degree, current enrollment in a master's program or related field, and two years of full-time post-bachelor's mental health experience, including one year in a crisis setting.
For the crisis-setting experience requirement, qualifying settings are a designated screening center, designated emergency service, or psychiatric inpatient unit.

Nice To Haves

MSW, MS, or MA, or a BS or BA in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
Licensure in an appropriate discipline.
