Personal Support Worker
About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers in Pinckney, Michigan. The role involves providing essential support and care to clients in their homes to help them maintain independence and quality of life. Workers assist with daily living activities, provide companionship and emotional support, help with mobility and transfers, monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior, document services, and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment. They must follow company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality guidelines. University Home Care Inc provides home care services to the Pinckney community, with a focus on client well-being, independence, compassionate care, and personalized support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a personal support or caregiving role is preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks and relevant screenings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
