About The Position
Bayshore HealthCare is a leading Canadian provider of home and community health care services. Bayshore Home Care Solutions (Hamilton) is a division of Bayshore HealthCare Ltd. and supports the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas by enhancing the quality of life, dignity, and independence of clients through customized care plans and solutions that allow clients to remain in their homes. Bayshore is seeking passionate and caring Personal Support Workers to join their team. The role involves visiting clients in their homes and facilities within the Greater Hamilton & Burlington region. This is a permanent opportunity working every weekend, with a guaranteed 40 hours bi-weekly, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays with shift options of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker diploma, International Nursing Degree or equivalent (evidence required).
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle is required.
- All staff are required to drive own vehicle within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas.
- Proof of valid educations, license, and/or certificate.
- 2 supervisory references.
- A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Proof of being negative for TB.

- Visiting clients in their homes and facilities within the Greater Hamilton & Burlington region.
- Providing care to clients of all ages and backgrounds with compassion and excellence.
- Creating meaningful moments for clients daily while providing exceptional care.
- Focusing on building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families in the community, both in-home and facility care.
- Adhering to strict health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both staff and client.
- Performing documentation and correspondence using provided mobile devices and electronic communication.
