About The Position
Better Living Health and Community Services has an opening for the position of a Personal Support Worker (PSW). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal support, homemaking support, light housekeeping and respite services to Clients in the community.
Requirements
- Completion of PSW Certificate by a recognized college.
- Must have experience in a similar role.
- Must have availability to work two evenings a week (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs).
- Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check issued by the local police service, within 6 weeks of offer of employment.
- Candidates must demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated, are in the process of being fully vaccinated, or have a substantiated medical or religious reason why they cannot be vaccinated.
