Requirements

  • Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Strong reliability and flexibility
  • Passion for making a difference in your community
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (travel within Haliburton region required)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check

Responsibilities

  • Support patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and peri-care
  • Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate specialized dietary needs
  • Provide light housekeeping and companionship to enhance comfort and quality of life
  • Build meaningful relationships while supporting independence and dignity
