About The Position

Dungarvin is seeking motivated, high-quality caregivers to work directly as Personal Support Assistants in a residential setting. This role involves providing personal and companion care to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities, aiming to enhance their quality of life. The position is a 24/7 live-in placement, offering the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on people's lives through coaching, mentoring, and encouragement. Dungarvin is a mission-driven organization dedicated to person-centered support services since 1976, assisting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or complex medical needs.

Requirements

• Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment
• Computer skills for documentation
• 18 years or older
• A successful background clearance is required
• Good communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal)
• Valid driver's license
• Access to a vehicle with car insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide support services and assistance to individuals in their homes or in the community.
• Enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in their home setting as well as out in the community.
• Coach, mentor, and encourage others to reach their goals.
• Document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with team members.
