About The Position

The Personal Stylist Support employee helps customers by phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions, providing excellent customer service. The role also helps keep the department ready for customers by straightening, lightly cleaning, and restocking the cash wrap area and sales floor. Employees stay informed about fashion trends and products, share information about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program, and may support order fulfillment and order pick-up in other store areas. The position is seasonal and based at the Houston Galleria. The hourly pay range is $16.60–$17.30, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Responsibilities

Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions.
Provide quick, easy, and enjoyable service by listening to customer needs and sharing fashion knowledge.
Help keep the department runway-ready by straightening, lightly cleaning, and restocking the cash wrap area and sales floor.
Stay current on key fashion trends and products to help customers with purchase decisions.
Tell customers about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Support other store areas, including order fulfillment and order pick-up, as needed.
