We are seeking a Personal Property Inventory Specialist to join our Winnipeg office. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join our Contents team. The responsibilities of this role extend beyond those of traditional personal property appraisers. The ideal person for this position will have strong customer service skills, a proactive and flexible approach, and the ability to think strategically while managing a variety of responsibilities. The Personal Property Inventory Specialist will be responsible for assessing content damages and providing valuations related to the property insurance field. This is a challenging and rewarding role for an ambitious individual and involves traveling to post-loss sites, collecting information, analyzing, pricing, and creating reports on a wide variety of personal property items. A typical work week would include a full-day site visit collecting information and photo-journaling the contents. Office work would be required for preparing the reports by analyzing and compiling the data using estimating software, databases, and proprietary software.
