Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assess individual insurance applications to determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks.
- Evaluate factors such as property value, location, usage, and safety features to make informed decisions.
- Work closely with field teams to gather critical information to support and defend underwriting choices.
- Provide essential support to senior underwriters in managing accounts and delivering exceptional service.
