About The Position

As a Personal Lines Team Lead, you are responsible for motivating, coaching, and encouraging employees. By your leadership, the goals, purpose, and vision for the employees will be brought into focus and executed by your ability to collaborate and build relationships. Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent. Support the team in achieving their highest performance potential. Responsible for assisting branch manager (or overseeing objectives in absence of management onsite) and ensuring that daily service commitments are met. Able to answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answers phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes. Maintains necessary relationship with employees to ensure quality service standards are met. Utilize most current centralized reference tools to help make decisions or follow appropriate commercial lines procedures. Other job responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years insurance brokerage experience.
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
  • Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM).
  • A valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
