About The Position

As a Personal Lines Producer, you will expand and enhance the assigned book of business by fulfilling responsibilities in alignment with the expectations set by the Personal Lines Sales Team Lead. This role involves contacting potential and existing customers to promote agency products, conducting annual client account reviews, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of carrier procedures and industry specifics. You will also review reports, initiate the renewal process, ensure client satisfaction through regular contact, and maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System. Fostering strong relationships with clients, carriers, and coworkers, providing precise information to underwriters, and adhering to agency procedures are key aspects of this position. Attendance at agency meetings and external functions is also required, along with performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

  • Proficiency in utilizing a desktop or laptop computer, calculator, agency management system, and all Microsoft products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.
  • Must maintain an insurance license as mandated by the Colorado State Department of Insurance and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential and existing customers through phone and email to promote agency products
  • Conduct annual client account reviews.
  • Sustain a comprehensive understanding of all carrier change procedures and industry specifics.
  • Review reports generated by the Agency management system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Initiate the renewal process in collaboration with the Account Executive, based on expiration reports generated 120 days prior to policy expiration.
  • Ensure that each client is contacted for annual phone or in-house account reviews.
  • Document and keep precise records of activity for each client in the Agency Management System.
  • Ensure the accuracy of each client’s account status, submissions for new and renewal business, and requested policy changes.
  • Foster and uphold high-quality relationships with clients, carriers, and coworkers.
  • Provide precise information to carrier underwriters and the support team.
  • Adhere to agency procedures and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Attend mandatory agency meetings, external functions, seminars, and conferences.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
