About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join the personal lines team of an insurance agency in Paoli, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide service and support to customers on Homeowners, Automobile and other Personal Lines insurance, helping them with policy and coverage changes as well as questions about their products and accounts. You will also play a key part in new business, preparing quotes and supporting the sales staff as new customers are onboarded. This is a service focused position with no sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the insurance industry, communicates clearly and brings a genuine passion for customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service
- Previous experience in the insurance industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly
- Experience with Agency Management Systems is a plus (the agency currently uses Applied EPIC)
- Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance license
Responsibilities
- Assist with quoting Homeowners, Automobile, Umbrella and other personal lines insurance programs
- Provide support to existing customers with policy and coverage changes
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services and account management
- Support the sales staff with quoting new business and onboarding new customers (no sales responsibilities required)
