About The Position

This is an exciting chance to step into a key role at our Stratford or Listowel office and help shape the future of a brokerage that’s been serving the community for 140 years. As a Customer Service Broker – Personal Lines, you’ll take ownership of an established book of business and provide the kind of attentive, knowledgeable support our clients count on. This position will also have the opportunity to work on some commercial lines and farm policies. If you’re someone who loves building trust, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly, you’ll feel right at home here. We’re open to both Level 2 brokers and strong Level 1 brokers who are ready to grow.

Requirements

  • Active RIBO license (required)
  • Experience servicing a personal lines book of business
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Applied EPIC is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, professional service to clients, carriers, and internal colleagues
  • Prepare and process quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
  • Review underwriting information and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments to ensure clients receive optimal insurance solutions
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers
  • Identify and act on cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities when appropriate
  • Remarket personal lines policies as needed
  • Take and submit new claim reports, ensuring timely follow‑up
  • Maintain diligent oversight of client accounts to resolve outstanding items
  • Contribute to a strong, customer‑first culture within the team
