Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager - Long Island, NY
About The Position
NavSav is seeking a passionate, hardworking, and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to support client services and retention in a local office on Long Island, New York. The company is a rapidly growing independent insurance agency with more than 75 locations across the United States and access to more than 150 carriers. The role focuses on growth and retention by providing high-quality customer service, helping clients prepare for the unexpected, and meeting individual and agency goals. The Account Manager builds client relationships, addresses coverage and policy needs, reviews policies, and remarks renewals when appropriate.
Requirements
- Property and Casualty license.
- Pass a background check.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Operational computer and typing proficiency of 45+ WPM, including Microsoft Office suites and internet browsers.
- Confident self-starter who works well independently.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Establish and develop exceptional customer relationships.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
- Discuss clients’ coverage needs, coverage gaps, billing concerns, and policy changes, and process necessary policy changes.
- Provide policy reviews as appropriate and remarket policy renewals as needed.
- Contribute to individual goals and agency success by following established retention processes.
- Round out and cross-sell accounts.
