Personal Lines Account Manager
About The Position
Inszone Insurance Services is an independent insurance agency with more than 100 offices throughout the United States, specializing in customized insurance products for businesses and individuals. The Personal Lines Account Manager supports the sale of and provides service for personal insurance customers, handling changes, updates, and value-added services. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring licensing and experience. The role works with clients, carriers, and designated sales staff, and contributes to a professional, collaborative team environment with opportunities for career development and advancement.
Requirements
- Licensing and experience are required.
- Carrier knowledge is required.
- Ability to handle renewals and re-shop as needed.
- Ability to handle endorsements with carriers and review them for accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Answer clients’ questions regarding payments and notices.
- Process endorsements for clients.
- Manage a diverse book of house accounts.
- Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers once licensed.
- Support designated sales staff.
- Follow up and see tasks through to completion.
- Appropriately document contact opportunities.
- Act professionally in all cases, using a sales and service mindset.
- Handle renewals and re-shop policies as needed.
- Handle endorsements with carriers and review them for accuracy.
- Work on Risk Control recommendations.
- Work on Notices of Cancellation and seek reinstatement.
- Handle other duties as needed.
