About The Position

The primary function of this role is to deliver exceptional service to our Personal Lines clients. This position is responsible for managing accounts, processing policy changes, quoting and binding coverage, and ensuring accuracy in all client interactions. This role will foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Florida 20-44 Property & Casualty Personal Lines Agent License or 2-20 General Lines (Property & Casualty) License, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Professional, positive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of personal lines insurance experience preferred.
  • Previous account management, customer service, or client-facing experience within an independent agency, brokerage preferred.
  • Experience utilizing Applied Epic, or a comparable agency management system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Producers' sales efforts by handling accounts once bound.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing guidance on insurance coverages, policy options, and pricing.
  • Manage the day-to-day servicing of personal lines accounts, including endorsements, renewals, cancellations, billing inquiries, and coverage changes.
  • Market, quote, negotiate, and bind new and renewal business with carrier partners while ensuring compliance with agency and carrier underwriting requirements.
  • Review policy documents, audits, and carrier correspondence for accuracy, coordinating any necessary corrections with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all client communications and transactions within the agency management system.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and licensing requirements to enhance insurance knowledge and client service capabilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
