This role is based in one of our Massachusetts offices: Reading, Cambridge, or Natick. This position involves managing a personal lines book of middle market accounts - standard home, auto, and umbrella policies. Requirements

  • Client-first mindset with a passion for building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear and approachable way.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Producer's License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in insurance and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Comfort working with numbers and a solid understanding of financial concepts.
  • Well-versed in personal lines coverages, understand business classifications, and stay informed on industry trends and strategies for client retention.
  • Excel at identifying challenges and designing effective solutions, with strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership by advocating for clients and mentoring junior team members to help them grow.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (or similar tools) and can create polished spreadsheets and presentations with ease.
  • Experienced with agency management software and can quickly learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal lines book of middle market accounts - standard home, auto, and umbrella policies.
  • Serve as the go-to advisor for clients, helping them navigate their personal insurance needs with confidence.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and customized solutions.
  • Work closely with the production team to lead the renewal process, delivering timely and high-quality outcomes that exceed client expectations.
  • Secure existing business and identify opportunities to expand coverage and services.
  • Analyze data and industry trends to craft strategic client service plans and reports that add value and build trust.
  • Help clients stay ahead of risks.
  • Foster long-term relationships and client satisfaction through a proactive approach.
