About The Position
HUB continues to experience explosive growth and is seeking a dynamic Leader to join our Personal Insurance Leadership Team. This is an ideal role for a strong people leader with Personal Lines Insurance experience who is career driven, has a strong focus on employee engagement and customer experience. The role reports to our Personal Insurance Executive Leader.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Personal Insurance leadership experience
- RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing required
- Demonstrated success in building, engaging, and developing teams
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute on vision
- A proven track record of achieving organizational objectives through effective leadership
- Strong knowledge of home and auto insurance underwriting policies
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Industry designations such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, or FCIP an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership by motivating a team of insurance brokers, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance targets, adhere to company and industry standards, and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Foster a culture of professional growth and development among team members
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance company partners and stakeholders
- Establish and recommend strategies, policies and processes to improve the business
- Provide insight and direction to drive the company forward as a member of the Personal Insurance Leadership team
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans and manage day-to-day operations to achieve key business goals
