About The Position

HUB International is a leading North American insurance brokerage that advises businesses and individuals on how to reach their goals. The Personal Lines division is focused on providing expert advice and tailored solutions to meet clients' insurance needs. As a Personal Insurance Executive, you will leverage the company's in-house Personal Lines program, High Value programs, special risk options, and regular market offerings. Requirements

  • Level 2 General Insurance License.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Lines producer or account manager.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills including offering unique solutions utilizing all offerings at Hub International.
  • Results driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Strong sense of urgency to serve the client’s needs as your top priority.
  • Enjoy building new business relationships by asking for the business.
  • Skills in establishing referrals through local Realtors, Notaries, Mortgage Brokers and Centers of influence in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management – proactive outreach, annual review calls, and maintaining concierge-level service for HNW clients.
  • Risk Assessment & Coverage Design – tailoring bespoke insurance programs for complex assets (multiple properties, high-value collections, luxury vehicles, yachts, aircraft).
  • Claims Advocacy – acting as a personal liaison during claims, ensuring swift resolution and white-glove handling.
  • Market & Carrier Engagement – liaising with HNW underwriters, negotiating terms, and staying updated on specialty products.
  • Portfolio Monitoring – tracking policy renewals, coverage gaps, and changes in client circumstances or asset values.
  • New Business Development – networking in luxury, financial, and professional circles to generate referrals.
  • Discretion & Privacy Management – safeguarding client confidentiality while coordinating with attorneys, wealth managers, and family offices.
  • Continuous Learning – keeping current on evolving risks (e.g., cyber liability, climate exposures, global mobility issues).
