About The Position

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Senior Case Manager to support the settlement and resolution process for plaintiff personal injury cases. This role is responsible for coordinating settlement-related activities, facilitating reductions of medical balances and liens, preparing settlement documentation, maintaining accurate case records, and ensuring cases progress efficiently toward resolution.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Case Manager, Senior Case Manager, Negotiations Case Manager, Closing Specialist, Reductions Specialist, or similar role within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm.
  • Experience negotiating or coordinating reductions of: Hospital liens, Hospital bills, Medical provider balances, Medical bills, Settlement reductions.
  • Experience managing settlement reductions and lien resolution from assignment through completion.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing settlement statements and closing documentation.
  • Experience coordinating settlement disbursements.
  • Experience managing multiple active files simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Miami Lakes

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters through the settlement and resolution phase.
  • Negotiate reductions of hospital liens, hospital bills, medical provider balances, medical bills, and other healthcare-related claims under attorney supervision and in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Communicate with medical providers, lienholders, insurance carriers, clients, and attorneys regarding settlement-related matters.
  • Review, track, and document settlement-related communications, medical balances, liens, reductions, and supporting documentation in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Obtain and organize settlement-related records, balances, and payoff information.
  • Prepare and review settlement statements and closing documentation.
  • Coordinate settlement disbursements and final case closing activities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate case records in Litify.
  • Provide proactive communication and updates to clients regarding case status and settlement processing.
  • Refer legal questions, legal strategy decisions, settlement disputes requiring legal analysis, and requests for legal advice to the appropriate attorney.
  • Meet departmental productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.
