We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our Pre-Litigation Department. Requirements

  • Previous Plaintiff Personal Injury Case Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of California Personal Injury claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with compassion and empathy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Litify or Salesforce-based case management software.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience handling Serious Injury cases.
  • Knowledge of MedPay, UM/UIM, Government Claims, and lien resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an active caseload from intake through settlement, serving as the primary client contact.
  • Ensure efficient case progression, client satisfaction, and adherence to deadlines and firm standards.
  • Contact newly assigned clients within 24 hours.
  • Build strong client relationships through compassionate and professional service.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, educating them on the claims process and managing expectations.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and text.
  • Document all client communications meticulously.
  • Review new case files for completeness and accuracy, obtaining missing documents.
  • Coordinate medical treatment and referrals, monitoring progress and identifying needs.
  • Review police reports, medical records, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, lien holders, and vendors.
  • Assist clients with property damage claims, rental vehicles, and loss-of-use issues.
  • Submit MedPay documentation and file Government Tort Claims within statutory deadlines.
  • Calendar all applicable deadlines in the firm's case management system.
  • Identify Serious Injury (SI) cases for attorney review.
  • Coordinate collection of critical evidence for SI cases, including police reports, policy limits, witness statements, photographs, and videos.
  • Assist with Pre-Procedure Evaluations (PPEs) by gathering necessary records, bills, estimates, policy limits, ISO reports, and Criminal Background Checks.
  • Coordinate with Records Clerks to obtain prior medical records.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
  • Update Litify with all case activity and communications.
  • Scan, upload, and organize documents promptly.
  • Ensure all case milestones and deadlines are documented.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to facilitate case settlement.
  • Participate in settlement preparation and negotiations as directed.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance client experience and encourage reviews.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
