About The Position

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our litigation attorneys throughout the life of a case. The ideal candidate has extensive experience handling discovery, medical records, litigation deadlines, trial preparation, and client communication while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. This position is 100% onsite in our New York City office.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of recent Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal experience.
Experience handling New York personal injury litigation matters.
Experience drafting: Discovery Demands, Discovery Responses, Bills of Particulars, Medical Authorizations.
Experience managing litigation deadlines independently.
Experience organizing and reviewing medical records.
Experience preparing trial exhibits and litigation documents.
Experience using legal case management software (Litify preferred).
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in New York City.

Responsibilities

Manage personal injury litigation files from filing through trial.
Draft, review, and respond to discovery demands and responses.
Prepare Bills of Particulars, authorizations, subpoenas, and litigation documents.
Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Coordinate medical records, billing records, and damages documentation.
Organize medical records by provider and chronology.
Maintain accurate case information in Litify.
Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
Prepare exhibits and trial notebooks.
Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.
Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates.
Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.
