About The Position
Sullivan & Galleshaw, LLP is a dynamic and growing plaintiff’s personal injury law firm located in Ozone Park, NY. We are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys and help move cases efficiently from intake through resolution in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on personal injury matters
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
Responsibilities
- Managing case files from intake through trial preparation
- Drafting legal documents, including summonses, complaints, bills of particulars, and discovery responses
- Obtaining and organizing medical records, accident reports, and other critical case documents
- Communicating with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Preparing deposition, mediation, and trial materials
- Managing court calendars, filing deadlines, and case status updates
- Answering phones and assisting with new potential client calls/intakes as needed
