About The Position
TorkLaw is a national plaintiff personal injury firm founded in 2012 with headquarters in Irvine, CA, and approximately 100 employees. This role is for a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Plaintiff Attorney based in Chicago, IL. The firm is seeking an attorney to manage a full plaintiff personal injury caseload, including car accidents and slip and falls, from intake through settlement. Responsibilities include strategic case investigation, medical record analysis, developing case strategy, negotiating with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, and maintaining compassionate client communication. Collaboration with legal assistants, case managers, and lien negotiators is also a key part of the role. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- 5+ yrs plaintiff-side personal injury (no defense-side)
- Active attorney in good standing, barred in Illinois
- Stable work history (no short stints)
- US citizen / Green Card
