Requirements

  • Strong Litigation Support Skills: Proven experience assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation.
  • Exceptional Organization & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple cases, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records with precision.
  • Effective Communication: Professional and timely interaction with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Legal Tools & Technology: Skilled in using legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management systems (e.g., Abacus, CRM).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and support smooth case progression.
  • Team-Oriented & Flexible: A collaborative approach with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic legal environment.
  • Client-Centric Focus: Commitment to delivering excellent client service while managing sensitive information with discretion.
  • Exceptional communication skills – You can break down complex legal matters for clients in a way that makes them feel confident and supported.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement documents
  • Support attorneys in litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
  • Maintain and organize client files, update case management systems, and manage calendars
  • Coordinate depositions, court appearances, and communicate case updates to clients
  • Liaise with medical providers, negotiate liens, and track court deadlines and rulings
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including legal correspondence and docket management
