As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney at Avaness Law, you will have the opportunity to handle meaningful personal injury cases, advocate for injured clients, and play a key role in driving cases toward successful resolution. This position is ideal for an attorney who is confident in litigation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about fighting for clients.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- At least two years of experience in personal injury litigation
- Strong litigation, negotiation, research, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to the office location
Nice To Haves
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Handling personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution
- Drafting, reviewing, and arguing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Taking and defending depositions
- Developing legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and efficiently for clients
- Representing clients in mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings
- Working closely with support staff, paralegals, and case managers to move cases forward effectively
- Managing a litigation caseload with attention to deadlines, detail, and client communication
