Personal Injury Attorney

Affinity Consulting GroupSeattle, WA
$100,000 - $200,000Onsite

About The Position

The firm is seeking a driven Personal Injury Attorney who wants to build a long-term future with a growing practice. This person should be smart, resourceful, hard-working, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is not looking for a narrow attorney role, but for an opportunity to become a meaningful part of the firm’s continued growth. This attorney will work closely with firm leadership and should expect tight supervision during the first 2–3 months. As trust, judgment, and performance are demonstrated, the attorney will earn increasing autonomy and responsibility. This role is hands-on. Some days you’ll be handling complex negotiations or preparing for arbitration, and everyone on the team contributes wherever needed. The firm is also interested in attorneys who are open to testing and leveraging AI tools, including Clio and Eve, to improve efficiency, client service, and case outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2 years of personal injury experience required.
  • Solid track record negotiating with insurance companies required.
  • Experience taking depositions required.
  • Highly intelligent, resourceful, and willing to work hard.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — someone who sees this as a career-building opportunity, not just a job.
  • Willing and able to work in the office 5 days a week in a beautiful building downtown.

Nice To Haves

  • Arbitration experience strongly desired.
  • Civil litigation experience, including drafting and filing motions, is a plus.
  • Meaningful personal injury experience and understand how to move cases forward.
  • Enjoy negotiating with insurance companies and advocating for strong client outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial firm where attorneys are expected to be hands-on.
  • Communicate clearly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Willing to work hard, learn the firm’s systems, and earn increasing autonomy over time.
  • Want a long-term opportunity with a path toward partnership or ownership interest.
  • Curious about using technology and AI to improve the practice of law.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
  • Negotiate directly with insurance companies to maximize client recoveries.

  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Handle arbitrations (2–3 prior arbitrations strongly preferred).
  • Assist with discovery, case preparation, and client communication.
  • Be willing to jump in wherever needed — including administrative tasks.
  • Test and leverage AI tools (i.e. Clio and Eve) to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Work under tight supervision for the first 2–3 months before earning more autonomy.
