About The Position

The firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to play an important role in shaping the future of a growing plaintiff firm. This role offers more ownership, influence, and the opportunity to build something that's still growing. The attorney will work closely with firm leadership, take ownership of meaningful cases, and make a direct impact on clients and the practice. This is not a large firm or a solo practice, but a collaborative team environment where experience and ideas are valued. The clients often include immigrants, professional drivers, and small business owners facing difficult life moments. The firm emphasizes building trust, clear communication, and helping clients understand the legal system.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active Washington State Bar license, or ability to waive in.
  • Personal injury litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong insurance defense litigators with significant deposition experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience negotiating with insurance companies.
  • Experience taking depositions.
  • Arbitration experience strongly preferred.
  • Civil litigation experience, including motion practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in person in downtown Seattle.

Responsibilities

  • Handle personal injury matters from litigation through resolution.
  • Negotiate directly with insurance companies.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions in Superior and Federal Court.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Handle arbitrations.
  • Guide clients through every stage of the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes and client service.
  • Utilize technology, including case management software and AI tools, to improve efficiency.
  • Represent individuals and small business owners during difficult moments.
  • Communicate clearly, earn client trust, advocate aggressively, and care about helping clients move forward.
