About The Position

Personal Financial Counselors provide personal financial counseling services at military installations to service members and their families. The role also uses virtual counseling and other communication methods, such as secure chat and customer-sponsored secure video teleconferencing, as an adjunct to in-person counseling when participants cannot attend in person. Counselors manage duty-to-warn and restricted-reporting situations according to Department of War protocol, staff cases with leadership, communicate with leadership, participate in individual and group supervision, share information on installation trends and issues, and take part in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities. Other duties may be assigned. This is an in-person office position with a stated salary range of $62,000 to $80,000.
