About The Position

Personal Financial Counselors provide personal financial counseling services at military installations to service members and their families. Services span financial education and counseling, including individual counseling, consultations with commanders or other providers and staff, briefings and educational presentations, and referrals to resources outside counseling sessions. Counselors work closely with installation and military-branch points of contact to ensure the program stays within scope and meets installation needs.
