Full-time Personal Chef - Bethesda, MD
About The Position
This full-time personal chef position offers a better work-life balance than typical sous chef or line cook roles, with consistent Monday through Friday hours (8 am–6 pm), providing evenings and weekends off. In this role, you will serve 8–9 clients weekly, managing grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, and kitchen cleanup. You will have the opportunity to explore various cuisines and build relationships with clients. Beyond weekly meal preparation, chefs may also host private dining events, teach cooking classes, lead corporate team-building workshops, and assist with special projects like menu design and event catering. This position offers direct client interaction, creative menu freedom, and opportunities for growth into events, education, and leadership roles. Requirements
- Minimum of two to four years of line experience
- Sense of urgency
- People skills
- Attention to detail
- ServSafe Manager certification
- State-specific Allergen certification
- Reliable vehicle
- Culinary Experience: 2 years (Required)
- Cooking: 2-4 years (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience/familiarity with computer/email/Google Workspaces/social media is preferred
