About The Position
CareWorks Health Services is hiring Personal Caregivers throughout Orange County, CA. This role involves providing one-on-one support to clients in their homes. The position offers competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, and flexible scheduling options including morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, tailored to client needs and caregiver availability. The company welcomes experienced caregivers, including those with titles like Personal Caregiver, Home Care Aide (HCA), Personal Care Aide, or In-Home Caregiver.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience
- Must have a Home Care Aide (HCA) number or be willing to obtain one
- Must be willing to complete a required Live Scan/background check (if needed)
- Dependable and responsible
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Compassionate and respectful toward clients
- Able to assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Reliable communication with clients and the care team
Responsibilities
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Fall prevention and safety support
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines
- Companionship and client engagement
- Grocery shopping and approved errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments and approved outings
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Following the client's care plan and providing respectful, dependable care
