About The Position
CareWorks Health Services is hiring Caregivers and Home Care Aides (HCAs) throughout South Orange County, CA. We are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients in communities including Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Dana Point, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, and surrounding South Orange County areas. The position offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience
- Must have a Home Care Aide (HCA) number or be willing to obtain one
- Must be willing to complete a required Live Scan/background check (if needed)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Dependable transportation to client assignments
- Able to assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Reliable communication with clients and the care team
- Compassionate and respectful approach to client care
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide toileting and incontinence care
- Offer mobility and transfer assistance
- Support fall prevention and safety
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines
- Offer companionship and client engagement
- Assist with grocery shopping and approved errands
- Accompany clients to appointments and approved outings
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living
- Offer respectful, dependable support in the client's home
