About The Position

TALIN HOME HEALTHCARE LLC is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide daily support and care to a client in their home in Woodbridge, Virginia. The role involves personal assistance, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility support, monitoring and reporting changes, and accompanying the client to appointments and errands.

This position is 12 hours per week. The required schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., plus four flexible daytime hours on Saturdays.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care, home health, or a caregiving role is preferred.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Must pass a background check and meet Virginia state requirements for home health aides.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support in the client’s home.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry, and maintain a safe living space.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls and promote safety.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior to supervisors.
• Accompany the client to appointments and assist with errands and transportation.
