About The Position

Interim HealthCare of Las Cruces, NM is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential in-home care. The role helps clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by supporting seniors in living safely at home. Caregivers work with a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio and can set their own schedules. The company describes its culture as family-oriented and focused on supporting staff and putting patients first. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening, if applicable.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compassionate, dependable, and a strong communicator.
Willingness to undergo training and certifications as needed.

Nice To Haves

Valid New Mexico driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance are highly preferred.
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including unobstructed pathways.
Follow care plans and communicate changes in client conditions to supervisory staff.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
