Human Touch Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Worker (PCW) to join their team. Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.
- Requires personal transportation, valid state issued driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
- Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.
- Must have a current Colorado State CNA License.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience working with elderly and frail but will train.
Responsibilities
- Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients.
- Attend to any unskilled personal care services that the consumer requires using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company.
- Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinics.
- Provide assistance or stand by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
- Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
- Make bed, change and launder linens.
- Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop.
- Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and only the consumers living area and bedroom.
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (make sure floor is dry before leaving).
- Advise staffing director of requests which cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafe.
- Be dependable to consumers and Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheets.
- Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate.
