The CorsoCare Personal Care Director is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of administrative, clinical, and resident care services within a senior living community environment. This role actively supports our culture and directly manages all Wellness Staff to provide compassionate and competent care for residents. The Director implements and coordinates all services for residents, performs evaluations and ongoing assessments, and sets measurable goals and outcomes to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Personal Care Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws. The position involves building resident and family relationships, managing department operations within budget parameters, and planning staff meetings and trainings. The Director also acts as a resident advocate, develops care associate assignments, and oversees staff training and hiring. Knowledge of emergency policies and ordering of supplies are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role includes leading wellness chats, conducting team member check-ins, facilitating blood pressure clinics, attending leadership meetings, participating in resident forums, following up on falls, performing safety assessments, managing service agreements, and supporting on the floor as needed.
