The CorsoCare Personal Care Director is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of administrative, clinical, and resident care services within a senior living community environment. This role actively supports the company culture and directly manages all Wellness Staff to provide compassionate and competent care for residents. The position involves implementing and coordinating all services for residents, performing evaluations and ongoing assessments, setting measurable goals and outcomes, and making necessary changes to service plans. The Director has overall responsibility for the Personal Care Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws. They also build resident and family relationships, manage department operations within budget, plan staff meetings and trainings, act as a resident advocate, and develop staff training programs. Additionally, the role involves hiring staff, managing emergency policies, ordering supplies, leading wellness discussions, conducting team check-ins, facilitating health clinics, attending interdepartmental meetings, participating in resident forums, performing safety assessments, managing service agreements, and providing on-the-floor support as needed.
