About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants in Great Barrington and across Massachusetts to help elderly and disabled individuals live safely and comfortably in their homes. The family-owned agency offers free training and certification, including Home Health Aide certification. The role provides flexible scheduling and starts at $18 per hour. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Own a vehicle; the company does not transport clients.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Strong English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Be compassionate, respectful, and dependable.
• Have good time-management and organizational skills.
• Commit to following health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a clean home.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping.
• Prepare meals, involving the client when possible.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform routine cleaning, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
