About The Position

Hillcrest Grand Lodge is hiring a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Medication Technician for a full-time day-shift role in Papillion, Nebraska. The position supports seniors in maintaining their independence and contributes to a welcoming, comfortable environment. The role involves assisting residents with personal care and daily routines, administering medications within the employee’s certification and training, monitoring residents’ needs, and collaborating with nurses and other team members. Requirements

Current Nebraska 40-hour Medication Aide certification.
Genuine passion for working with seniors.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or Medication Technician.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care and daily activities.
Administer medications safely and accurately within certification and training.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and help create a welcoming, comfortable environment.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs.
Support residents with mobility, meals, and daily routines.
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to provide care.
Bring kindness, patience, and a positive attitude to each shift.
