About The Position

Join Guardian Angel Senior Services as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a real difference by helping elderly and disabled individuals live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are a family-owned agency that prioritizes and supports our caregivers. We offer free training and certification for your Home Health Aide Certification at no cost. We are hiring across Massachusetts, with full-time and part-time positions available in Great Barrington. You can start working this week!

Requirements

• Own vehicle and a valid driver's license (we do not transport clients)
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Commitment to following health and safety guidelines

Nice To Haves

• Home Health Aide Certification (training and certification provided at no cost)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, dressing, meals)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean home
• Run errands such as grocery shopping
• Prepare meals with client involvement when possible
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc.)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
