About The Position
The Landings at Caton Hills is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential support and care to our clients in Canton, GA. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized assistance and companionship.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related caregiving role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- Background check and drug screening may be required
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ condition and wellbeing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities when required
- Report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to supervisory staff
