About The Position
MedStaffers is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Direct Care Workers to support clients in their homes with personal care and daily living activities. This role offers a supportive, team-focused environment and flexible scheduling. The position involves assisting clients with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, and providing companionship and emotional support.
Requirements
- 1 year of home care experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check
- Ability to complete (or provide) a two-step TB test
Nice To Haves
- The right person will be trained if they do not have the experience
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
- Helping with mobility: ambulation, transfers, and guided exercises
- Providing light housekeeping: vacuuming, dishes, laundry, dusting
- Running errands: grocery shopping or transportation to appointments
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Medication reminders
- Providing companionship and emotional support
