About The Position

Urgently Hiring! Two 4 hour cases are available in the 33304 area! We Are Looking for You to Make a Difference in Someone's Life! This position requires you to be a Certified HHA or CNA. The following bulleted lists outline your primary responsibilities as a Personal Care Aide. This description is not an exhaustive list of services, as duties may vary based on each client’s individual needs. Prior to beginning any new assignment, Senior Helpers will provide you with background information about your client and review any special requirements or preferences to ensure you are fully prepared for the case. Objective: To staff qualified, professional caregivers who can provide high‑quality services that support each client’s independence, safety, and daily living needs. We are currently seeking both male and female caregivers to fill open cases, including: A 9am–1pm morning case in 33304 for a client requesting a male caregiver starting Monday 4/27/2026. A 2pm–6pm case in 33306 requiring Hoyer lift experience, starting at $16/hr starting Monday 4/27/2026. Our goal is to match caregivers to cases efficiently while ensuring every client receives the compassionate, reliable care they deserve.

Requirements

• Be a Certified HHA or CNA
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level.
• Ability to successfully complete Personal Care Services training and skills assessment test.
• Ability to drive to get to work and have a vehicle available during assignments.
• Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations, a valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
• Demonstrate tact, patience and good hygiene
• Must have flexibility with schedule and be able to work various shifts and days
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
• Pass employment physical and 2-step TB test
• Proof of passing first aid/CPR training within 3 months of employment
• Requires Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned

• Transportation
• Assist client to and from bed
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linen changing
• Bathing assistance
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting
• Medication reminders
• Monitor Alzheimer’s & Dementia client
• Assist client throughout the night (If scheduled for overnight shift)
• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately.
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual.
