About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. The ideal candidate will provide direct personal care and support services to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Requirements
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar caregiving role is a plus, but NOT required
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure high quality of service
