About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to assist residents with their personal
care, to include direction and assistance with grooming, hair care, shaving,
nail care, oral care, dressing, bathing, toileting per resident care plan and to
assist residents with administration of medications.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret medication labels and doctors
• Understands and supports Resident Rights
• Ability to respond to safety concerns including fire, OSHA, etc.
• High School diploma or equivalent required or 2 years of related experience may be substituted for the HS diploma requirement
• Obtain basic First Aid training within 30 days of official start of employment

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in an enriched living, adult community, similar housing environment or long term care preferred
