Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent from the United States
Direct Care Worker Certificate or active CNA certification in the state of PA
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain a calm demeanor
Must be punctual and dependable

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a memory care or senior care setting preferred
Basic knowledge of dementia and other cognitive impairments is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a safe and comforting environment
Monitor and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and needs to ensure personalized care
Support residents in engaging in therapeutic activities and social interactions
Follow care plans and safety protocols to promote residents' well-being
Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to deliver comprehensive care
Must pass criminal background check, abuse and neglect checks
Must be punctual and dependable
