About The Position
This role is for a Home Health Aide in Memory Care. The position requires a compassionate individual who thrives on helping others and making a difference in the lives of seniors. The aide will provide personal care services, support, and companionship, assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). They will also monitor residents for changes in their condition and personal care needs, collaborating with the Nurse to update their care plans. Encouraging resident participation in community programs and activities is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and love working with people!
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- A current state required certification as a HHA/CHHA- Medication Aide Certified is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
